Bloomfield Hills is known for large custom homes on wooded lots, homes around its lakes, and a strong tradition of modern architecture shaped by the nearby Cranbrook campus. Many of these homes were designed around the view, so the windows and doors are some of the most important parts of the house.
Whether you are renovating a mid-century modern, updating an older estate home or building new, we help you choose systems that match the architecture: slim frames that keep sightlines clean, large panels that open the house to the backyard, and glass that stays comfortable through Michigan winters.
Looking for replacement windows, new patio doors or a modern entry door in Bloomfield Hills? Legendary Windows handles complete window and door replacement from the first measurement to the final adjustment: we remove the old units, install the new windows and doors with proper insulation and sealing, and leave your home clean. Our crew works throughout Bloomfield Hills (ZIP codes 48301, 48302 and 48304) and nearby Bloomfield Township, Birmingham, West Bloomfield and Troy.
Large glass areas in Bloomfield Hills homes look stunning, but they also decide how warm the house stays in January. The right glass package keeps big windows comfortable all year.
Two panes of glass with an insulating gas-filled space between them and a low-E coating. A strong, cost-effective choice for most rooms and a big improvement over older windows.
Three panes and two insulating spaces for even lower heat loss, warmer glass surfaces near the window, less condensation and better sound insulation. Ideal for bedrooms, large windows and colder, windier exposures.
Every window and door we install can be ordered with double or triple pane glass. Efficiency also comes from the rest of the system:
