Modern windows, glass doors and entry doors for Birmingham homes, from careful updates of older houses to brand-new custom builds, installed by our own crew from nearby Livonia.
✓ 15+ years of experience ✓ Licensed and insured ✓ Our own installation team ✓ 5-year installation warranty
Birmingham mixes classic older homes on tree-lined streets near downtown with a steady stream of new custom houses built on the same lots. Lots are often narrow and homes sit close together, so windows have to bring in as much daylight as possible while still giving you privacy and keeping street noise out.
For renovations, we help you upgrade comfort and efficiency while respecting the style of the house. For new builds, we work with your builder or architect so larger openings, sliding doors and the front entry are planned correctly from the start.
Looking for replacement windows, new patio doors or a modern entry door in Birmingham? Legendary Windows handles complete window and door replacement from the first measurement to the final adjustment: we remove the old units, install the new windows and doors with proper insulation and sealing, and leave your home clean. Our crew works throughout Birmingham (ZIP codes 48009 and 48012) and nearby Bloomfield Hills, Beverly Hills, Royal Oak and Troy.
In Birmingham, where homes sit close together and many rooms face the street, the glass you choose affects not only heating and cooling but also how quiet the house feels.
Two panes of glass with an insulating gas-filled space between them and a low-E coating. A strong, cost-effective choice for most rooms and a big improvement over older windows.
Three panes and two insulating spaces for even lower heat loss, warmer glass surfaces near the window, less condensation and better sound insulation. Ideal for bedrooms, large windows and colder, windier exposures.
Every window and door we install can be ordered with double or triple pane glass. Efficiency also comes from the rest of the system:
